Welcome to Emberwood studio!

My name is Shosh. I'm a writer & mixed-media artist who loves to explore how creativity can open awareness and intuition in our bodies!​

​I love to play with words, colour, texture, natural elements, liminal spaces and social constructs...

​

I have a diverse post secondary academic background that ranges from Language, Literature & Creative Writing, to Biodiversity & Integrated Systems, Native Plant Ecology & Organic System Design, as well as training in violence informed group facilitation for women. I also have formal training in music & rhythm, and extensive experience with complex communication across a diverse set of genres and academic spaces.

I draw on many places to inform both my personal and guided creative, art & writing practices.
